All rooms have private en suite facilities and most have shaver points. The beverage tray is re-stocked daily. You can choose between Nescafe Coffee or Fairtrade Tea and we also supply biscuits, sugar, sweetener and milk.
Complimentary toiletries include Miller & Mason Shampoo and Shower Gel as well as a lovely scented handwash.

Me and my husband had a very enjoyable stay here. Very lovely B&B. Anna is very helpful and polite. Lovely cooked breakfast. We will definitely be returning.

A variety of magazines have been placed in each room should you not wish to watch TV. There is central heating throughout the guest house and in each room the windows can be opened. Most rooms have access to free WiFi and you can view more pictures of our rooms at Bay Cottage Guest House.

A non-refundable deposit equal to one nights stay is required with all bookings.

If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
If a booking is cancelled 7 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking will be charged.
Regrettably we are no longer able to accommodate children.
We are unable to cater for pets.

This Privacy Notice explains how we at Bay Cottage Guest House use any personal information we collect about you.
What information we collect about you
When you make a booking with us we collect the names of all the guests who will be staying, the home address, email address and telephone number of the person making the booking. We also collect a debit or credit card number to take the deposit equal to the first night of your stay.
How we use the information we hold on you
We use your home address as part of the card payment processing to validate the card. We will use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking. After your stay you will receive an automatic email from our booking system requesting feedback. We will only use your telephone number to contact you a couple of days before check in to confirm your time of arrival. We will also call you if we are unable to contact you by email.
How is your data stored
If you have booked with us via an OTA or directly via our website, all of the personal and debit/credit card data you supply us, as part of the booking process, is stored securely on a third party system, Freetobook.

If you have booked by telephone we do not store your credit/debit card details. Your name, address and contact details are stored securely on a third party system, Freetobook.
Neither we nor Freetobook will share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.
We would like to stay in touch with you to send information about the guest house, any special offers we may have or local events. We send occasional emails (normally no more than one a month) to people on our mailing list. Our mailing list is managed by a secure third party, Mailchimp. If you would like to receive these newsletters please let us know at check in. You may change your preferences or unsubscribe via Mailchimp at any time. Neither we nor Mailchimp will pass your details onto any third party
Guest Registration
We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by asking you to complete a registration form on arrival.
For commonwealth guests;
Name and nationality
For non commonwealth guests;
Name, nationality, passport number, address of next destination
We will keep these forms safely in a locked filing cabinet. We are required to keep these registration forms for a year and show them to a police officer if they request to see them. We will destroy these forms 12 months after your stay.
